Part Time Employment at Laurel House
Respite House Parents
Laurel House is seeking married Christian couples to provide respite coverage one weekend a month and/or one week a quarter. The pay is $110 per person per weekend. Respite couples move into the house parents’ quarters for the weekend and maintain the structured and loving environment at Laurel House while providing relief for the full-time house parents. Professional Qualifications: Previous experience working with adolescents, valid California driver’s license, must meet state licensing requirements and fingerprint clearance. Laurel House is a place to help you with your needs. The house parents and staff are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and accepted. We get to go out on outings and do fun things and get the space and time to work through what brought us here. I was tired of being in trouble. Now I help out every Sunday with children’s church, got my first grade report with all A’s, and am following the program. I am making progress and feel I am doing great.
