Laurel House Wish List

There are many ways in which you or your organization can provide direct, tangible support for the day-to-day operation of Laurel House including:

Prayer Support
Regular prayer for our teens, their families, the house parents and the Laurel House staff and counselors for guidance and support.

General Financial Support

  • Consistent monthly or annual giving - Laurel House depends upon regular personal donations of any amount to support our programs as well as larger gifts and organization grants we receive periodically.
  • Give a financial contribution in honor and/or memory of a loved one or work colleague.
  • Designate an offering to Laurel House. Many organizations, companies and church groups accept group donations and do fundraisers on behalf of charitable organizations.

Support for House Needs

  • Food or Department Store Gift Certificates
  • Plumbing Repairs
  • Handyman Services for household maintenance & repairs

Support for Teen Care

  • School Supplies
  • Guest Passes to local theme parks, movie theaters, etc.
  • Clothing Store Gift Certificates
  • Scholarship Fund - Contributions assist Laurel House teens in pursuing post high school education.
  • Provide a home-cooked (or purchased) meal for the household.

As you can see, our needs are varied and significant. By providing financial support or sponsoring one of the above you will be helping to insure that the growing financial and operational needs of running Laurel House are met. Your gift will be a wonderful expression of love and compassion that will go a long way to providing hope and a future to the residents of Laurel House.

Laurel House Photo

I first came to Laurel House about three years ago. I was twelve going on thirteen, and I thought I knew everything there was to know about life. I had many issues that needed to be worked on in counseling. I also had many problems with my parents. I worked out a lot of problems with my family and felt I had grown as a person by the time I graduated from the program.
